Current condition: Still looking good after almost 20 years!
T111 wood siding had severe cracking and peeling due to hot summer sun exposure with ambient air temperatures over 100 F. degrees in the summer months. Flex 3100 was applied with a sprayer and back-rolled with a thick roller pad to fill the cracks.

Conventional Paints Failed: Summer heat caused small cracks in the wood siding and allowed moisture from the morning dew to penetrate into the wood. In the afternoon the moisture expanded causing further enlargement of the cracks. Conventional paint was used but it was not thick enough to fill the cracks so the moisture-expansion cycle continued to deteriorate the siding.
